I'm a junior DevOps engineer based in Lagos, Nigeria, working toward infrastructure and platform roles after coming up through mathematics education and banking.
I studied Mathematics at Lagos State University, then spent time on curriculum and teaching work at Trendy Abacus Limited before moving into banking as a Direct Sales Agent at Polaris Bank. DevOps became the place where the structured, systems-first thinking from math met a hands-on interest in building and fixing infrastructure.
My flagship project, Capstone Phoenix, is a production-style Kubernetes deployment on AWS — Terraform, Ansible, k3s, Argo CD, and the debugging that came with all of it. I write up what breaks, not just what ships, on the blog.
